Arizona ACA Broker
Looking for an ACA broker in Arizona? I help individuals and families compare health insurance plans on the marketplace — including subsidy eligibility — through a no-pressure, one-on-one conversation. You work with me directly, not a call center, and plan comparison is free.
Why work with an independent broker

The ACA marketplace presents dozens of plans across Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Catastrophic tiers — each with different networks, deductibles, copays, and subsidy eligibility. Premium tax credits can change year to year based on income, household size, and benchmark plan pricing. An independent broker compares options from multiple carriers, estimates your subsidy, and explains whether a Silver plan with cost-sharing reductions might save you more than a cheaper Bronze premium.
I am recognized in the Health Insurance Marketplace Circle of Champions and have served Arizona clients since 2009. You work with Cara Eisinger directly — not a rotating enrollment center — from first quote through renewal.

Common questions
What is the ACA marketplace?
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace — also called the health insurance exchange — is where individuals and families buy subsidized health plans. In Arizona, plans are available through the federal marketplace at HealthCare.gov or with broker-assisted enrollment through tools like HealthSherpa.
When can I enroll in an ACA plan?
Open Enrollment runs November 1 through January 15 for coverage starting the following year. You may also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period after certain life events — losing job-based coverage, moving to a new county, marriage, divorce, or having a baby.
How do premium tax credits work in Arizona?
Subsidies lower your monthly premium based on household income relative to the federal poverty level and the cost of the benchmark Silver plan in your area. Many Arizona households qualify — especially after recent subsidy enhancements. I estimate your credit before you apply so you know what to expect.
What is the difference between Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans?
Bronze plans have lower premiums but higher deductibles — good if you rarely use care. Silver plans can include cost-sharing reductions if your income qualifies. Gold and Platinum plans cost more monthly but cover a larger share when you need care. I help you match tier to your doctors, prescriptions, and expected usage.
Can you help if I am losing employer coverage?
Yes. Losing job-based health insurance triggers a Special Enrollment Period — typically 60 days before and after the loss. I compare marketplace options against COBRA costs and help you avoid a gap in coverage.
Serving Arizona marketplace shoppers
ACA plan availability and subsidy amounts depend on your county, household size, and income. Whether you live in Phoenix or Scottsdale (Maricopa County), Tucson (Pima County), or rural Arizona, I help you compare plans offered in your area and understand what you may pay after subsidies. If you are aging off a parent's plan at 26, losing employer coverage, or self-employed without group benefits, I walk through your options and enrollment timing so you do not miss a window.
